600 Agi & Survival
pre tBC the best geared hunters were also survival, it will just take really good gear before SV wins on dps.
and it is indeed 600 agi before lightning reflexes.
i already had 614 agi with, and that wasnt enough to compensate the loss of AP.- God Emperor of Hunters and Priest Forum Mean Person.

Well.. I dont think survival can compete with MM even with that amount of agi. To get that amount you would have to sacrifice a lot of other stats, eg pure AP and crit rating which to be honest isnt worth it. MM just has too many bonuses over survival, in my opinion, for it to be better for dps. (EG barrage, RWS, Master Marksman, Careful aim, TSA, etc)-Syllethem - 70 Hunter Terenas EU

Seeing as this forum tends to go with the rule of thumb of 600+ unbuffed AGI for survival to work, I was wondering is this before or after lightning reflexes? Also, does anyone have the numbers on how a survival spec would compare to a mm spec in terms of DPS if you have hit that 600 mark? (In other words why 600 as opposed to 700 or 500)
